Obituary for Helen (Mitton) Larson

With family by her side, Helen left this earth peacefully on July 23, 2017.

She was born to Czechoslovakian immigrants Jonko and Anna Makaj in Chilliwack, BC Canada. The family moved to Fife, Washington in 1941. She graduated from Fife High School in 1955. She married her high school sweetheart Bob Mitton and they raised three children.
Helen’s life was filled with many interests and hobbies. She was the ultimate homemaker and would say that this time was the prime of her life. She was an avid gardener, baker/cook, seamstress, entertainer and always learning the latest craft. She also worked in the dental profession for 15 years. If there was something Helen couldn’t do, she would find out how and get it done. She had many friends in her life because she was such a fun person to be around.
She later married Harold Larson and at the time of his passing in 2011 they had just celebrated 20 years of marriage.

She will be deeply missed by her family, sons Dennis (Malinda) Mitton and Randy Mitton, daughter Jennifer (Gary) Gonzales, 12 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is now reunited with her passed loved ones including her beloved sister Annie Turner.

A celebration of her life will be held Friday August 11, 2017 1:00 pm at Mount Cross Lutheran Church, 8902 40th Street West, University Place, WA.
