You're In My Thoughts

I thought of you today.
You were on my mind and it dawned on me:

I will never hear your voice or laughter again
Or see your smiling face.

Your journey on this world was cut too short
Leaving an emptiness in our hearts and a sadness behind.

You touched so many lives and made the world a brighter place
Now you're gone, the gray clouds have come.

Know you will be missed very much by so many
family, friends and so on.

I know that one day we will see each other again
the smiles and sunshine, along with laughter will ring as they did before.

Kenneth Dean Thomasson of Tacoma Washington passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, 18th of March 2018 with his beloved service animal Tiny at his side. He was a graduate of Rogers High School. Dean was a Veteran of the United States Army, having served in the 3rd Infantry Division in Germany as a Generator Repairman. Dean was a Cancer survivor, survived heart surgery in 2006 and a man that just never quit. Dean was an avid gamer and member of the City of Draketon gaming community, a former Security Officer with Allied Universal, a volunteer at the Northwest Community Church food bank and a multi-year worker of the Puyallup Fair at BBQ Pete's, which he was quite fond of.

Dean was the kind of man you want to model yourself after. If it was within his power to help you, he would, without question. Dean was a helper to his fellow man and missed at any gathering he couldn't attend.

A service will be held at Mt. Tahoma National Cemetery April 16, 2018 at 9:30 A.M.
