Phyllis Stanley Felix, born March 8, 1935, in Tacoma, passed peacefully with her loved ones by her side on August 23rd. She graduated from Eatonville High School and went on to work in her Mother’s tavern in Kapowsin before entering the dental industry, where she served as a management consultant. She served as Secretary of the Lake Louise Improvement Club. She was preceded in death by her husband Merton Felix of nearly fifty years and her beloved Mother and Father Red and Tooie Haugen of Kapowsin.

She is survived by her loving family, daughter Gayle (John) Ashworth, sons Dennis (Elizabeth), Kevin (Peggy) Felix, sister Joy (Todd) Craig-McFadden, grandsons, Kelly and Chad Felix, Adam and Paul Ashworth and Derek Hayward; great grandchildren Madison Harris, Taylor Nissen, Logan, Chloe, London and Noah Felix, Addison, Ayden and Brysen Ashworth, and Kaiya and Sydney Xayavong-Gibson and many nieces and nephews.

Phyllis loved to travel and she and Mert frequently traveled in their motor home. Camping at their Ocean Shores lot, beach combing and watching sunsets on the beach were some of their favorite activities.

She loved spending time with her family and especially enjoyed her sister, Joy’s holiday family parties.

A memorial reception will be held on Saturday, September 16, at 2 PM, Orting Manor, 102 Bridge Street SE, Orting.
